The View from the Bleachers

This blog is a collection of misinformed views and opinions mainly on sport, but with no doubt some similarly stupid opinions on life’s other trivialities thrown in from time to time. I don’t claim to be an expert, but I am passionate about sport. Every Saturday (well, nearly every Saturday), I will also be uploading a video of some classic sporting action, at least until I’ve bled YouTube dry.

All intelligent and (most) unintelligent comments are more than welcome.

We now have a new contributor, my old friend Will the Big Texan, who will be bringing a refreshing non-New York-centric angle to the blog, although I will not be replacing the picture of David Wright in the header with one of Lance Berkman, however much he begs!

Finally, in the words of the great Kevin Rutmanis, bassist of legendary bands the Cows, Melvins and Tomahawk: “anyone who likes sports is a stupid repugnant pig.”
